  • 4-year MD program – the 4-year program is based on standards and criteria jointly agreed by authorities of the Medical University of Lodz and members of the Alliance Institute of Medicine in the United States. The 4-year course of study at the Division of Studies in the English Language is designed for students who completed first two years of their medical education outside Poland and who possess sufficient knowledge to continue their study. The course is primarily designed for those who wish to pursue the American model of medical education and who consider sitting the USMLE examinations.

  • 6-year MD program – 6-year MD program is designed for high school/secondary school graduates. It is a full time study program based on requirements which are obligatory for the Polish medical higher education institutions and is adequate to EU standards.
  • 5-year DMD program - the 5-year program is designed for foreign students who wish to complete both their pre-clinical and clinical education in Lódz. This program is based on the European Union medical curriculum and will lead to qualifications that meet the requirements for those intending to practice in Europe. The candidates are expected to excel in basic science courses: physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics and English.

Poznan University of Medical Sciences

  • 4-year MD Program - the 4-year M.D. Program for college graduates of the Poznan University of Medical Sciences in Poznan is designed for U.S. Canadian and international college graduates who have completed their pre-medical education and have obtained satisfactory grades in chemistry, physics and biology. Education at PUMS is based on the American M.D. program and conforms to American education standards. The University is recognized by the United States Department of Education and the relevant Student loan authorities.

  • 6-year MD Program - this program is based on the Polish curriculum and is designed for European and other candidates who have graduated from high school and obtained good grades in physics, chemistry, biology and English Language. The course is divided into two parts:

    Part I, occupying the two preclinical years, is devoted mainly to the following subjects: anatomy, medical biology, chemistry, biochemistry, histology and embryology, physiology, medical Latin and medical Polish. During this period clinical aspects of these topics are gradually introduced.

    Part II starts in the third year and occupies the remaining four years of the course. After completing all the theoretical and clinical subjects and passing all the necessary examinations the student is awarded the M.D. medical diploma.

  • 5-year DDS Program - this program is designed for candidates who graduated from high school and obtained good grades in physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics and English Language. Successful students will be awarded the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.). On October 5th 2004 the newly built Dental School (Collegium Stomatologicum) of PUMS was officially opened and this creates the opportunity for the further development and improvement of both teaching and research activities.

  • 3-year B.Sc. in Physiotherapy Program - the Physiotherapy Program is based on the Polish curriculum with English as the language of instruction. It is designed for international candidates that are well-educated, have appropriate maturity level, health status, motivation and commitment to a career in Physiotherapy.

  • 6-year Pharm. D. Program - Pharm. D. Program was launched in September 2009 at PUMS. The 6-year Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D.) Program in English is designed for international high school graduates or college graduates who have obtained satisfactory grades in Chemistry, Biology and English. The 6-year Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D.) Program offered at Poznan University of Medical Sciences complies with the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE)'s Accreditation Standards and Guidelines for The Professional Program in Pharmacy, as well as with the Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the recognition of professional qualifications.
